Red Mill Inn?

My fiance and I are getting married in Warners NY (Small town outside of Syracuse) We want a reception to be fairly close so our guests don't have to go far- we have our hearts set on the Red Mill Inn in Baldwinsville- there is family history and it seems perfect- any good/bad news about this? My parents want us to check out some other places as well. Any ideas? We are also planning this wedding from Canada which makes life a little more difficult! Thanks!

I have heard such great things about the red mill inn! My "sister in law" has their wedding planned there for next year and she said the staff has been so great with helping with every detail in planning! Its a really historic place and actually very well priced. I love that it is right on the river with the deck that is right attached to the event room.

I also had a friend who had a reception at Red Mill and it was TERRIBLE!

Not sure how big of a wedding you are having but, there is a big boat in Brewerton, which is 20 minutes from Baldwinsville that does weddings; seaway navigation and tours. Good spot also for rehearsal dinners, would be unique! I'm leaning towards that to do something different.
Also, I have had fundraising events at Mohegan Manor and its a very elegant affair. The owner is very nice, just make sure you get everything in writing as far as what is included and what will be served :)

A friend's daughter had her reception at the Red Mill this past summer, they were all very pleased. DJ does make a HUGE difference. My daughter was also married this past summer and her DJ was phenomenol ... not the guy who was tacky and posted here ...

A friend of mine got married at the Red Mill and their experience was horrible.

Red Mill is ok, but Mohegan Manor in Baldwinsville has amazing food!!! Dennis is great to work with to!!!!
