my dream has always been to have my weeding at a location near the water. I am on a tight budget does anyone have any suggestions.

I went on a big dinner boat in Brewerton, just outside of Syracuse this summer that does rehearsal dinners and small weddings. That would be right on the water and its really nice looking. It was Seaway Navigatiion and Tours.
Also Cicero has Lake Shore Country Club on Oneida Lake.

I wonder if you could do it in Skaneateles- it is absolutely beautiful out there ! we really wanted to have the wedding at the sherwood inn out there but it was too small for the size of our wedding

My suggestion is the White Eagle in Hamilton. It's set on a small lake. It's probably not as pricey as a place in Syracuse.

Beaver Lake? You can have the ceremony inthe woods and the reception in their pavillion. But it has a small capacity.
