Reviews of Receptions at Rosamond Gifford Zoo?

We are looking to have our reception there and just looking for feedback in terms of food, service, bar, etc.. thanks

I was in a wedding there and it was SMALL. The outside patio was very nice but inside very small. food okay staff okay there are better place you can go to for the money

We had our wedding at the zoo and it was wonderful! EVERYONE loved our sit down dinner, the bar was excellent and the staff were very accomadating with our needs and it cost the same as anywhere else! Our relatives still say it was the BEST wedding they ever went to and it was July 2006! Every one was nervous about having it at the zoo but it was very clean and did not smell at all.My guests also enjoyed seeing the animals after hours during the reception.The lions were very active!The wedding was next to the duck pond at sunset and we danced under the stars all night!I could not have dreamed of a better night! I would absolutely recommend the zoo for a wedding!
