Reception site Help

Hello,
I'm recently engaged...We are planning on summer 2011. We live out of town but our wedding will be in the Syracuse area because my family lives there. My fiance and I will be coming in to town to look at site, probably in the spring.
I really want to have my ceremony and reception at the same place. I am really looking for a place that would allow offsite catering as I know of a wonderful catered that I would like to use. I'm not big on ballrooms, I love outdoors, nature, openness. Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks a bunch

Look into Arrowhead Lodge @ Oneida Lake - its beautiful there - inside & out
they have large kitchen accomodations for your choosen caterer. Big stone fireplace,
hardwood flooring - set in the woods - striking for a wedding - ceremony or reception.
Check the dates as they fill quick - Good Luck

Many of the state parks have facilities that couples use for receptions, like Camp Brockway. For an nontraditional venue we are actually planning a fall wedding at Song Mountain. The ceremony is in one lodge and the reception is in the other.
