What are the opinions of David's Bridal?
A few weeks ago, my finance and I stopped in to look around. We were kind of pushed around by sales girls. I know we didn't have an appointment, but we felt like we were in the way. I did make an appointment, but they keep calling me wanting to know if I want an appointment. I am going, but I would like to know some review?

My daughter's Bridesmaids were from different States and we foolishly thought David's Bridal was the place to go. There was no consistancy and many "untruths". Get everything in writing!!!

My daughter bought her wedding dress there as did all of her brides maids. We had a wonderful experiecne there and all of the girls that work there were very friendly and helpful. We shopped at the Erie Blvd Syracuse location.

I actually went with my soon to be mother in law and sister in law to Davisd Bridal. I didn't have an appointment and I walked in. The ladies were actually quite nice and friendly. I had a great consultant her name is Danielle. She helped me with several dresses and was helpful with the viels and head pieces. I had a wonderful time and I found my Dream dress!! I wish all you ladies luck! Oh, I went to the Davids bridal on Erie Blvd in Syracuse.

I have found that once you know what kind of dress you like and try it on...go look elsewhere because it may be cheaper. The worst that will happen is it might go on sale, they won't discontinue dress styles within 6mo time. Enjoy the dress shopping experience, it's very important!!!

I agree - make the appointment. Even when I came early to mine, they were a bit put off since they're trying to balance the many brides and their friends/family that accompany them. Just make sure you pick out what you want - they do try to push the designer dresses the average bride can't afford.

I too stopped in without an appointment. I actually went with my neice to pick up a bridesmaid dress they ordered for a wedding she was in. I already knew what type of dress I wanted, and looked around while she was trying on hers. I found just what i wanted and tried it on. True, I felt like i was intruding...............but i am sure they have to put brides that already have appointments first. A sales person did come over to me and gave me a slip and veil to try on with the dress and bra, but I was fine with not getting all that fuss and attention because I knew what I wanted. The dress was on sale and I bought it! So if your looking for that one on one attention your probably better off with an appointment. Or like I did, my sister helped me try the dress on and that was fine without sales people around.
