Kelly & Chad in Syracuse

December 17, 2005, I hold the office Christmas party at out house, after the girls and I decided to go where else but Dorsey's!! As I'm walking back from the bathroom, I feel a person grab my arm and stop me. Surprise Surprise this is the cocktail girl that used to work at Littman's. The words that then came out of her mouth, weren't "Hi" or "how are you", but "DON'T YOU LOVE THE RING JON SAID THAT CHAD DID A GREAT JOB PICKING IT OUT!" If she had just taken a moment to look at the arm she had just grabbed, she would of seen that I did not have a ring on my finger!! Everyone ask me what did I do? Well when a girl dreams of her engagement she doesn't dream of a cocktail waitress. This is bad, but it just gets worse. My fiance found out that she told me, so he thought that he couldn't do anything to surprise me. He waited about a week and finally proposed to me, by walking into the living room and kneeling down next to me. As he knelt down and starting telling me wonderful things and how much he loved me, our Dog Chase started to hump him! We broke out laughing, and the moment was gone. That was my engagement. Almost done, Christmas was coming that weekend, and I wanted to surprise my parents with the news. My mom lost her brother in a car accident on Christmas and every year she cries during some point on that day. I wanted my mom to remember Christmas as a happy time. So I bought snowmen ornaments with Bride and Groom written on them and had her open them. My parents would kill me by saying this but they're old and didn't really see the words, my Dad thought it was supposed to be them. I then had my mom open up my engagement ring that I had wrapped. She looked right at me and we just started to cry. ( This year it was happy tears). We've been planning our wedding ever since. Our Wedding day is April 28,2007 and I can't wait to share it with our family and friends, plus it doesn't matter that the engagement was ruined, I get to marry my best friend and I can't wait!
